  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt

  • 4 ounces pork chorizo
  • 1 cup tomato-chipotle sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheese mix such as Oaxaca, mozzarella and Manchego
  • 1 can SunVista® Black Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1/4 cup red onion slices
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheese mix such as Oaxaca, mozzarella and Manchego
  • 1 can SunVista® Black Beans (drained, rinsed)
  • 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1/4 cup red onion slices
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions

To make pizza crust, combine water, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of the flour in a large mixer bowl. Let rest for 5 minutes.

Add 2 cups of flour, oil, and salt. Beat for 2 minutes. Gradually add enough remaining flour until dough pulls away from bowl. Place dough on well-floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes or until dough is elastic and no longer sticky. Spray large bowl with cooking spray. Add dough, turning to coat. Cover dough and let rise for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook chorizo in a small skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 12-inch pizza pan or large baking pan with cooking spray. Place pizza dough on lightly floured surface. Roll into roughly 12-inch circle. Lay pizza dough on prepared pan, forming edge of crust.

Spread tomato-chipotle sauce, cheese, black beans, jalapeño slices, onion, bacon, and chorizo over pizza dough.

Bake pizza for 17 to 22 minutes on lowest oven rack until crust is browned and cheese is melted. Let pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Tip: If tomato-chipotle sauce is not available combine 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce with 1 finely chopped chipotle pepper in adobo sauce. Mix well.
